Workday Full Job Description Overview:
This hybrid position will be located at our New York office. Expectations for hybrid in-office schedule is three days a week, typically Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Foot Locker, Inc. is seeking an HRIS Manager to support a multifaceted, multi-system environment - centered around PeopleSoft (Core HR) with an upcoming transition to Workday (HCM). This role is responsible for partnering with process owners, HR Business Partners, and the technology team to evaluate, design, and implement HRIS software solutions, including functionality, integrations and associated processes. The HRIS Manager will also support maintaining data integrity across disparate platforms and will support migration to new HR platforms. This role requires balancing day-to-day functional support with long-term strategic improvements, including system upgrades, and vendor management. #LI-MN1
Responsibilities:
System Maintenance & Configuration:
Oversee configuration, optimization, and operation of HRIS platforms. This includes performing audits, testing and ensuring data integrity.
Systems Integration & Data Governance:
Support seamless data integration across HR and business systems by identifying and recommending essential data fields. Ensure data consistency, accuracy, and interoperability by aligning field definitions with business needs, compliance requirements, and system capabilities. Facilitate efficient data exchange to enhance reporting, analytics, and process automation.
Project Management & Upgrades:
Manage new releases, system updates, and new module deployments. Provide leaders with platform insights to support strategic decisions and road maps.
Functionality Exploration :
Explore and evaluate HR system functionalities to identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and enhanced user experience. Assess new features, integrations, and best practices to ensure the HR system aligns with business needs and supports strategic workforce initiatives.
Qualifications:
Experience:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, Finance, Human Resources, or Information Systems (or the equivalent HRIS business experience). Minimum 3 years of experience in an HR/HRIS function. Experience with PeopleSoft is a plus.
Technical Knowledge:
Deep knowledge of HR platforms and how they support process and data management for an organization. Ability to configure core platforms and manage user permissions. Understanding data mapping for integrations.
Analytical Skills:
Identifying issues within HR data or systems (e.g., process bottlenecks, data inconsistencies) and developing solutions. Collecting, cleaning, analyzing, and interpreting large datasets to find patterns for data modeling and structuring.
Communication:

Benefits:
The annual base salary range is $105,000-$130,000 This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. This role is also eligible to receive short term incentives that align with individual and company performance. Salary will be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Salary is one component of the Foot Locker, Inc. total compensation package, which includes the below.
