About the Role We're looking for a Human Resources & Compliance Manager who enjoys being both a strategic partner and a hands-on resource for our team. In this role, you'll support the day-to-day HR needs of the organization while helping ensure we stay aligned with employment laws and best practices. You'll work closely with leadership and employees to provide guidance on everything from employee relations and performance management to policies and compliance . This is a great opportunity for someone who values consistency, fairness, and building a positive workplace culture—while also keeping an eye on risk and compliance . This role may be a great fit for an in-house attorney interested in applying their legal background in a people-focused, business environment. We're looking for a trusted teammate who can help support our people, strengthen our processes, and contribute to a workplace where employees feel supported and set up for success. What You'll Be Doing
  • Serve as a go-to resource for leaders and employees on HR-related questions, concerns, and guidance.
  • Support employee relations matters with a fair, consistent, and solutions-focused approach.
  • Oversee and maintain HR policies , ensuring they are up to date, compliant, and clearly communicated.
  • Partner with leadership on performance management, coaching, and employee development efforts.
  • Help ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations .
  • Support recruiting, onboarding, and retention initiatives as needed.
  • Assist with HR audits, documentation, and process improvements to reduce risk and strengthen practices.
  • Promote a positive, respectful, and inclusive workplace culture . What You Bring
  • Experience in Human Resources or a related field, with an interest in HR operations and compliance.
  • Working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices , or a strong interest in developing expertise in this area.
  • Juris Doctor (JD) or experience working within a legal setting is a plus, but not required.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build trust at all levels of the organization.
  • Sound judgment and the ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and discretion.
  • A proactive, organized approach with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • A collaborative mindset and a genuine interest in supporting people and business success. What We Offer
