Position Summary:

To ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and Head Start personnel requirements by developing, planning, coordinating, and maintaining all human resources procedures and documents and by advising all employees regarding personnel matters. Human Resources is responsible for the acquisition and retaining of high-quality staff. Likewise, the HR Manager is responsible for the oversight of professional development and continuous improvement of staff.

Qualifications & Requirements:

An Associate Degree in Human Resources (or closely related field•) is required; a Bachelor Degree in Human Resources (or closely related field•) is preferred. A valid Ohio Driver's License and proof of liability insurance are required.

Knowledge & Experience:

A minimum of (2) years experience in Human Resources is required. Additional experience in supervision and administration is preferred. Experience in Head Start and / or non-profit organizations is required. Fluent knowledge and skills utilizing Microsoft 365, Google processes, Adobe, Canva, and data collecting platforms. SHRM or comparable training or certifications is preferred.
