Responsibilities:
Serve as a key driver of a positive and high-performing workplace culture. Lead employee investigations, address complex workplace concerns, and advise supervisors on consistent policy application and performance management practices. Maintain a strong presence on the production floor by regularly engaging with employees across all shifts, fostering trust, communication, and alignment. Lead high-volume recruitment efforts for both hourly and salaried roles. Manage partnerships with external staffing agencies and recruitment firms, ensuring alignment on expectations, performance metrics, and staffing needs to support fluctuating production demands. Utilize ADP systems to maintain accurate employee records, ensure compliance reporting, and generate workforce analytics to support data-driven decision-making. Enforce compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local employment laws (including FMLA, ADA, and EEO). Promote positive employee relations to sustain a non-union work environment. Lead, coach, and develop the onsite HR team to ensure effective service delivery and support for the entire plant workforce.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree required 5-7 years HR experience in a manufacturing environment Food manufacturing environment highly preferred Proven ability to manage HR functions of large plant setting Extensive experience of managing in a non-union environment Experience managing complex pay roll systems (experience with ADP preferred) Fluency in Spanish highly preferred PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or
SHRM-SCP
