Job Description
If you are a Human Resources professional looking for an opportunity to grow your career, this role offers the chance to lead strategic people initiatives across the Americas while shaping a high-quality employee experience for a global organization. Based at the Professional Tools global headquarters in Elyria, Ohio, you will serve as a key member of the Global HR Leadership Team and report to the Vice President of Human Resources with dotted line reporting to the President of Professional Tools Americas. You will guide a high performing HR team, partner with senior leaders across the region, and align HR strategies and programs with business needs and organizational priorities.
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- + Act as the strategic HR business partner for the President of Professional Tools for the Americas, overseeing all corporate functions and multiple manufacturing sites to ensure operational excellence, compliance, workforce readiness, and alignment with production and safety priorities.
Who You Are:
- You communicate with clarity and empathy, creating shared understanding even in complex environments.
For This Role, You Will Need:
- + A bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or a related field (advanced degree is preferred). + Minimum of 8 years of progressive HR experience in employee relations, enablement, and HR leadership. + Strong communication, coaching, and conflict resolution skills. + Demonstrated success working within a matrixed organizational structure.
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
- + Experience managing employee relations and HR compliance programs in a multi-site or manufacturing environment.
