Job Description

The HR Director is the go-to person for all employee-related issues. The HR Director will oversee recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training & development, compliance, and benefits for the Company. This role will carry out objectives of the business as well as ensure employees know expectations to achieve overall success. Promoting corporate values and shaping a positive culture is a vital aspect of being a support to the Company as an HR Director. BRT is a growing aluminum extrusions company. Our aluminum extrusions are used in countless products and as we grow, our employees will grow as well. Human Resources Director:
Develop and implement HR policies/procedures and initiatives aligned with the overall business goals - and execute. Bridge management and employee relations by addressing complaints/conflicts of other issues that affect performance/productivity and employee engagement. Manage the recruitment and selection process and/or team. Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital. Develop and monitor overall HR systems, policies, and procedures across the organization. Nurture a positive working environment through engagement system/activities Oversee and support Company initiatives on performance management. Maintain and monitor the benefits program. Oversee the training function and or team. Report out of metrics to support Company direction and decisions. Ensure legal/governmental compliance throughout human resource management. Requirements for the
Human Resources Director:
Proven working experience as HR Assistant or Specialist or Manager. People oriented and results driven. Demonstrable experience with Human Resources metrics or KPIs. Knowledge of HR systems and databases (HRIS). Ability to influence others positively. Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills. Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company. In-depth knowledge and/or support for compliance and labor/employment related matters. Degree in Human Resources or related field or equivalent experience in the role - 2 to 4 years. Physical requirements of the
Human Resources Director:
This position requires the individual to work in an office/ factory/manufacturing environment. The temperatures can fluctuate from hot to cold and the noise level is high in the factory area. An individual in this role will be able to walk, bend, stoop, frequently. They also must be able to sit for long periods of time, repeating the same movements. An individual in this role will remain stationary and move about the office or factory as needed per essential duties of the position. An individual in this role will be an effective communicator verbally and in writing, and this role requires individuals to read, follow and give written directions/procedures to employees with or without reasonable accommodations.
