In this role, you will oversee all facets of human resources management, from talent acquisition and employee relations to benefits administration and compliance with employment laws. Your energetic leadership will drive organizational growth, enhance employee engagement, and ensure our HR practices align with our strategic goals. Duties Demonstrate capacity to perform duties exhibiting the highest ethical standards, incorporating best practice, exemplifying the values expected within the department, and for promoting the mission of the organization. Responsible for facilitation of daily HR functions, including employee relations, benefits and unemployment claims and assist with workers compensation claims Maintain positive employee relations by mediating or mitigating employee problems/complaints. Works with department managers and Human Resources Director to create and update job descriptions. Performs as well as oversees recruitment effort for all exempt and nonexempt personnel. Identifies legal requirements and other pertinent regulations affecting personnel functions. Assists Human Resources Director to develop and implement wage and salary structures and compensation policies. Collaborates with management and other HR staff regarding employee corrective processes and improvement plans as well as ensure compliance and documentation with all disciplinary actions and terminations. Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed to required parties. Advise Human Resources Director of existing or potential problem areas as well as facilitate trainings for department Managers when relative to employee relations, HRIS functionality, etc. Provides backup and assumes duties in the absence of the Human Resources Director. Performs other duties as determined by the Human Resources Director and senior management. Maintains compliance of Federal/State/Tribal Laws and regulations. Works with department managers to perform job analysis and update job descriptions. Maintains high levels of confidentiality at all time to protect employees and the organization. Other duties as assigned or requested by management. Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Knowledge of Federal, State, and Tribal employment laws and regulations. Knowledge of the operation of a variety of computer software, including word processing, database, and spreadsheet applications. Proficiency in preparing a variety of records, reports, and c01Tespondence using appropriate format and computer software. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to establish and maintain effective working relationships and ability to interact with employees at all levels, both in person and through phone, e-mail and written correspondence. Excellent organizational skills and time management skills. Ability to implement, explain and apply applicable policies, procedures, laws, codes and regulations. Ability to make oral presentations to clearly convey information and concepts. Work independently and as part of a team to ensure proper work practices. Must maintain high level of confidentiality at all times. Must be able to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines. Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously; skill in working in an enviromnent subject to constant interruptions and quickly changing priorities; ability to prioritize and delegate responsibilities when necessary; effective time-management skills. Pay:
$75,000.00 - $119,845.00 per year
