Description Human Resources Manager Location:
SH Clinic About the Role We are seeking an experienced and proactive Human Resources Manager to lead and oversee our HR function. This role is responsible for driving effective people practices across the organization, including employee relations, performance management, compliance, and talent processes. The HR Manager will partner closely with leadership and supervise an HR Coordinator, ensuring that HR operations are consistent, compliant, and aligned with organizational goals. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who can balance strategic thinking with day-to-day execution. Key Responsibilities HR Leadership & Employee Relations Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership and managers on employee relations, performance management, and workplace concerns Lead progressive discipline processes, investigations, and terminations in a compliant and professional manner Ensure consistent application of policies and HR practices across the organization Recruitment Oversight & Workforce Planning Supervise the HR Coordinator and oversee recruiting processes from intake through hire Ensure quality, consistency, and compliance in job postings, candidate screening, and interview practices Partner with leadership to identify hiring needs and improve recruitment outcomes Monitor and improve key hiring metrics such as time-to-fill and quality of hire Training & Development Coach managers on communication, conflict resolution, and team management Design and implement employee development initiatives and resources Support onboarding and ongoing training efforts across the organization Compensation, Benefits & Engagement Support compensation planning, including salary structures and pay adjustments Oversee employee benefits administration and serve as a resource for employee questions Monitor employee engagement and retention trends and recommend improvements HR Operations & Compliance Maintain compliant HR practices aligned with federal, state, and local regulations Oversee HR documentation, employee records, and HRIS data accuracy Manage unemployment claims, employment verifications, and reporting requirements Ensure consistent and well-documented employment actions across the employee lifecycle Onboarding, Offboarding & Process Improvement Oversee onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure a positive and compliant employee experience Identify opportunities to improve HR systems, workflows, and overall efficiency Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master's preferred) 3+ years of progressive HR experience, including leadership or supervisory responsibilities Strong knowledge of employment law, employee relations, and HR best practices Experience overseeing recruiting processes and managing HR operations Excellent communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills Ability to manage sensitive situations with professionalism and sound judgment Benefits Paid time off Health and Vision insurance Six paid company holidays 401k
