Early Intervention, IBHS and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Services, Educational & Therapeutic Services and Services for Adults with Disabilities. Position Overview The Manager of Human Resources and Operations is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day human resources functions and administrative operations of the organization. This role serves as a key point of contact for staff, leadership, and external partners, ensuring that HR practices, office systems, and operational workflows run efficiently and in compliance with applicable regulations. Key Responsibilities Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes; maintain employee records; and ensure HR policies and procedures are current, compliant, and consistently applied across the organization. Draft, revise, and implement HR policies and employee handbook updates in alignment with federal, state, and local employment law, including FLSA, FMLA, and ADA requirements. Coordinate payroll processing to ensure accuracy of submissions, review timekeeping data, and monitor compliance with overtime and pay practices. Serve as a resource for supervisors and employees on HR matters including performance management, disciplinary processes, and conflict resolution. Manage day-to-day office operations including opening and closing procedures, front desk coverage, visitor check-in, phone coverage, and mail handling; ensure the workspace is organized and presentable at all times. Manage routine administrative matters including employment verifications, unemployment inquiries, and workers' compensation coordination with professionalism and discretion. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field. Minimum 3-5 years of progressive experience in human resources, office management, or administrative operations, preferably in a healthcare or behavioral health setting. Prior supervisory experience required. Experience managing or coordinating payroll processes and HR compliance functions. Familiarity with workers' compensation administration and employment law (FLSA, FMLA, ADA). Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters with discretion. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR or practice management software; experience with EHR systems a plus. High level of professionalism, integrity, and sound judgment in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience in multi-site or high-volume IBHS agencies Background in healthcare risk management or compliance leadership Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary based on experience.
