Location US-IN-Warsaw # Positions 1 Experience (Years) 7 Category Human Resources Position Description At a Glance Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Human Resources Manager to join the Audio Video Division in Warsaw, IN. The role serves as an internal consultant to organizational leaders, partnering to build high-performing teams and plan for future growth through the design and implementation of comprehensive human resources programs. This includes organizational talent development, succession planning, engagement, employee relations, compensation, benefits, performance management, recruiting and retention, compliance, and workplace safety. Additionally, the role leads and manages HR projects and initiatives-such as process improvements, technology implementations, and cross-functional programs-ensuring timely delivery, stakeholder alignment, and measurable impact on business objectives. What Will You Do? As a member of the HR team, provide positive support to the organization and build and maintain effective relationships with employees and managers at all levels to assist in gaining awareness of employee and business needs; act as internal consultant to drive improvements; serve as a trusted advisor for managers and employees
Participate in strategic workforce planning within the organization, including defining staffing needs
Provide leadership and consulting support to company leaders to achieve corporate objectives and business growth
Partner with leadership to effectively support organization, business, and team issues
Streamline business processes to maximize efficiency and effectiveness within the department
Effective deployment of employee engagement programs
Collaborate with business leaders to design and implement competitive compensation strategies, conduct annual salary reviews, and ensure alignment with organizational goals and market benchmarks.
Answer any questions and/or requests by governmental agencies, including employee complaints; represent the company at hearings
Analyze feedback trends and make recommendations for corrective action and continuous improvement
Administer Human Resources policies and programs; ensure compliance with federal and state employment regulation is followed
Partner with supervisors and managers to resolve employee relations issues and answer requests for information on policy interpretation or processes; maintain complete and accurate employee relations notes, records, and logs
Partner with business leaders to guide the performance management process, ensuring clear goal-setting, timely feedback, and development planning that drives individual and organizational success.
In coordination with Corporate HR, Facilities, IT departments, accurately process employee changes for new hires, transfers, terminations, etc. to ensure all logistics are initiated
In conjunction with EH&S Manager, support investigations of workplace accidents and assist in facilitating timely reporting of accidents and incidents for worker's compensation and OSHA log reporting
Timely escalate unusual or complicated issues to manager accordingly
Project Management:
Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of assigned HR projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, timelines, and budgets
Partner with HR leadership and business units to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables. Facilitate communication between stakeholders to ensure clarity and accountability.
Develop and implement change management strategies to support successful adoption of new HR programs, systems, and policies.
Monitor project progress, track key metrics, and prepare updates for leadership to assess impact and ROI.
Initiate and assist with the creation, development, and implementation of processes and procedures
Consistently support compliance by maintaining the privacy and confidentiality of information, protecting the assets of the organization, acting with ethics and integrity, reporting non-compliance, and adhering to applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations, and the Company's policies and procedures
Understand workplace hazards and take steps to proactively prevent and report hazards or injuries in the workplace. Cooperate in safety programs, initiatives, and investigations.

Bachelor's degree and a minimum of seven (7) years' progressive experience within Human Resources; or combination of relevant education and experience. Required Skills:
Proven knowledge and application of HR practices, principles and applicable employment laws and regulations
Outstanding interpersonal skills; professional presence and behavior and the ability to effectively communicate and interact with employees at all levels
Dependable and enthusiastic with the ability to use good judgment, work independently with minimal direction, and possess a strong initiative and positive attitude
Strong problem-solving skills and resourcefulness with ability to demonstrate flexible and efficient time management and to appropriately prioritize workload

Analytical ability to develop and maintain relevant HR metrics
Excellent project management and planning skills, while providing high attention to details
Effective team building skills
Proven ability to make sound decisions within established guidelines
Must be able to function in a deadline driven environment and manage multiple projects
Ability to demonstrate flexible and efficient time management and to appropriately prioritize workload based upon organization or department needs
Excellent computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, HRIS)
Proven ability to make sound decisions to effectively resolve problems or issues, by using judgment that is consistent with standards, practices, policies, procedures, regulation or government law
Excellent project management, planning, and organizational skills with the ability to effectively manage several projects at one time while providing high attention to details and excellent follow-through skills
Must possess high degree of professionalism and ability to handle confidential information Preferred Skills:
Professional or Senior Professional in Human Resources certification (PHR/SPHR and/or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP
)
Multi-site experience preferred Working Conditions/Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required (for the majority of the working day) to sit and make coordinated movements of the fingers for data entry on a keyboard.
Combination of general office environment and regular shop fabrication/assembly/distribution center environment
Work Schedule:
Hybrid - 3 days in office per week
May require regular ground travel to other company facilities
