Salary:
$120,000-$140,000 (Direct Hire) Beacon Hill's client is a growing organization investing in its HR and payroll operations to support an expanding workforce. They are seeking an HR Manager to take ownership of payroll, benefits, and core HR processes while helping strengthen systems, policies, and compliance as the company continues to scale. This role is a mix of hands-on execution and process improvement. You'll work closely with leadership, Finance, and employees to ensure payroll runs smoothly, HR systems are accurate, and employees have a positive, well-supported experience. What You'll Be Doing Manage end-to-end payroll processing (semi-monthly), ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with all applicable regulations. Handle payroll reporting, reconciliations, and documentation, including certified and union payroll where applicable. Serve as the main point of contact with external payroll vendors and auditors. Oversee day-to-day HR operations such as onboarding, offboarding, employee records, and HRIS maintenance. Administer employee benefits programs and support open enrollment, changes, and compliance needs. Develop and maintain HR and payroll policies, procedures, and documentation. Partner with Finance on payroll accounting, reporting, and workforce-related planning. Act as a go-to resource for employees with questions related to payroll, benefits, and HR policies. What They're Looking For Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Accounting, or a related field. At least 5+ years of experience in HR and/or payroll, with direct responsibility for payroll processing. Strong understanding of payroll compliance, tax regulations, and employment laws. Experience working with HRIS and payroll platforms such as ADP or similar systems.
