The HRIS Manager will oversee the effective use of UKG Pro, manage and support the HRIS team, partner closely with internal business teams, and help drive consistent processes across a multi-state, nationwide organization. The ideal candidate has strong UKG Pro experience, understands HR and payroll workflows, and knows how to lead people through system changes, process improvements, and new ways of working. Own the ongoing strategy, administration, optimization, and improvement of the company's HRIS platform, with a focus on UKG Pro / UltiPro. Partner with HR, payroll, operations, finance, IT, and leadership to understand business needs and translate them into practical HR technology solutions. Lead change management efforts related to HRIS updates, process changes, system enhancements, reporting improvements, and new module rollouts. Create and deliver training for HR, payroll, operations, and other internal users to improve system adoption and consistency across locations. Develop user guides, process documentation, training materials, and best practices to support clear and consistent use of HR technology. Evaluate current HRIS processes and identify opportunities to streamline workflows, improve reporting, reduce manual work, and create better user experiences. Maintain data integrity across HR and payroll systems, including audits, data updates, troubleshooting, process controls, and reporting accuracy. Build and oversee reports, dashboards, queries, and analytics to support business decision-making across the organization. Lead system configuration, testing, upgrades, enhancements, and process improvement initiatives. Serve as the internal subject matter expert for UKG Pro, supporting users across multiple states and locations. Respond to system questions, troubleshoot issues, and partner with vendors or internal teams to resolve technical and data-related problems. Support HRIS-related projects, including new modules, integrations, implementations, testing, and system cutovers. Establish and maintain HR technology policies, standards, documentation, and best practices. HRIS Manager Qualifications 3+ years of experience in
HRIS, HR
technology, business systems, software configuration, business analysis, or related roles. Prior experience managing, mentoring, training, or leading HRIS/system support team members. 2+ years of hands-on experience with UKG Pro / UltiPro Enterprise required. Experience supporting HRIS systems across multiple locations, states, or operational teams. Experience leading change management, system adoption, user training, or process improvement initiatives. Experience partnering cross-functionally with HR, payroll, operations, finance, IT, or leadership teams. Strong understanding of HR and payroll processes, workflows, compliance needs, and data requirements. Experience building reports, queries, dashboards, or analytics within an HRIS platform. Ability to gather business requirements and translate them into clear system solutions, processes, and training. Strong communication skills with the ability to support both technical and non-technical users. Experience with system testing, configuration, documentation, user support, and training. Preferred experience with HRIS implementations, module rollouts, integrations, testing, and cutover planning. Strong attention to detail with a high level of data accuracy and confidentiality.
