Full-time Human Resources Manager Agency Description:
Neighbors Link is a non-profit organization dedicated to the healthy integration of immigrants into the community.
Position :
We are seeking a Bilingual (English/Spanish) Manager of Human Resources to join our team. Managing a workforce of approximately 65 full-time and 45 part-time employees , this individual will blend high-level strategy with daily HR execution. This position reports to the Chief Financial Officer. This position requires a candidate that is within commuting distance of our Mount Kisco, Ossining and Yonkers offices to accommodate as-needed on-site work for key leadership meetings, employee relations issues, training and professional development and major organizational events.
Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership & Culture Leadership:
Work with the Leadership Team to align HR strategies with organizational goals.
Engagement:
Administer the employee survey, analyze the results, and work with the leadership team to develop and implement responses to the survey results.
    Growth:
    Support the development and administration of internal career pathways and promotion processes, helping employees understand advancement opportunities across departments.
      Development:
      Coordinate employee training, leadership development, and professional development programs, including managing vendors, scheduling, communications, and program evaluation.
      TriNet PEO Management & Benefits Liaison:
      Act as an internal administrator on the TriNet PEO platform .
      Benefits:
      Trinet handles the benefits administration work, but employee assistance in enrollment in medical insurance, 401(k), and ancillary benefits may be necessary.
      Talent Acquisition & Lifecycle Hiring:
      Partner with program managers and directors to draft job descriptions, post listings, and recruit top talent.
      Onboarding:
      Design and lead onboarding experience for all full-time and part-time staff.
      Compensation & Benefits:
      Conduct compensation and benefits research, gather market data, and prepare analyses and recommendations to support compensation planning and benefit reviews by senior leadership.
      Relations:
      Provide coaching on disciplinary issues, manage grievances, and oversee formal improvement plans, and support managers through annual and ongoing performance review processes.
      Compliance & Policy Legal:
      Ensure compliance with rapidly changing New York, Maryland, California and federal labor laws , assisted by Trinet on compliance issues.
      Handbook:
      Maintain, update, and enforce the Neighbors Link Employee Handbook.
      Qualifications & Requirements Language:
      Fluency in English and Spanish (written and verbal) is required to support our diverse staff.
      Experience:
      5 years of progressive HR experience.
      Education:
      Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or a related field; PHR, SHRM-CP, or equivalent certification preferred
      Knowledge:
      Familiarity with New York, Maryland and California employment law and wage/hour regulations.
