Full Job Description Human Resource Manager, North America Location:
Onsite•Doraville, GA About the Opportunity A dynamic and fast-growing organization in the exhibitions and live events industry is seeking an experienced and people-focused Human Resource Manager, North America to lead HR operations and talent initiatives across the U.S. and Canada. This role is ideal for an HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced, creative, and collaborative environment and is passionate about building strong teams, supporting employee engagement, and aligning people strategies with business objectives. The Human Resource Manager will partner closely with executive leadership to support organizational growth while fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture. Key Responsibilities Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, interviewing, onboarding, and employee integration. Partner with department leaders to identify staffing needs and support workforce planning and succession initiatives. Help attract, engage, and retain top talent across North America. Employee Relations & Culture Serve as the primary HR contact for North America-based employees. Promote a collaborative, inclusive, and employee-centered workplace culture. Address employee concerns, conflicts, and workplace issues professionally and confidentially. Support employee engagement and organizational communication initiatives. HR Operations & Compliance Ensure compliance with federal, state/provincial, and local employment laws and regulations across the U.S. and Canada. Partner with ADP and internal stakeholders to administer payroll, benefits, and HR systems. Maintain accurate employee records, contracts, and HR documentation. Support policy implementation and HR process improvements. Performance Management Implement and manage performance management processes and employee development initiatives. Support leadership teams in driving employee engagement, accountability, and growth. Learning & Development Identify training and development needs across the organization. Recommend and support learning initiatives that strengthen employee capabilities and performance. Strategic HR Partnership Collaborate closely with executive leadership to align HR initiatives with overall business objectives. Contribute to organizational growth strategies and culture-building efforts. Qualifications Required Experience & Skills Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred). Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR management experience, ideally within the exhibitions, events, hospitality, or related industries. Strong knowledge of U.S. and Canadian employment laws and HR best practices. Demonstrated success in talent acquisition, employee relations, and HR operations. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills. Proficiency with HRIS platforms, payroll systems, and Microsoft Office Suite. Preferred Qualifications Experience with ADP and Connecteam. SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or similar HR certification preferred. Experience supporting remote and hybrid work environments. Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary ranging from $90,000•$105,000 per year , commensurate with experience. Comprehensive benefits package.
