1 Job Summary The HR Manager plays a key strategic role in supporting our client's U.S. Professional Division. This position partners with leaders across Irvine, Montebello, and the field service organization to strengthen talent management, build learning & development programs, drive employee engagement, and ensure compliance across multi‑state operations. The HR Manager operates within a matrixed environment, supporting both local site leadership and the Head of HR for the Americas. Responsibilities Oversee the talent acquisition process, including headcount approvals, challenging backfill needs, prioritizing requisitions, and coordinating approvals with corporate and Americas HR. Partner closely with Sales, Service, Marketing, and Technical teams to support workforce planning. Build foundational Learning & Development structure, implement global programs, and develop local training plans. Deliver manager trainings (interviewing skills, ER fundamentals, performance management). Lead employee relations investigations and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws. Address multi‑state HR issues for field service technicians (travel, per diem, safety practices). Partner with the Safety Manager on compliance, audits, and training/drills. Drive culture and engagement initiatives, wellbeing activities, and cross‑site collaboration. Provide in‑office HR leadership and oversee Irvine Office Supervisor/Admin. Support corporate HR programs including talent reviews, annual performance cycles, and internal control audits (iCare). Lead HR projects aligned with organizational transformation efforts. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field. 5+ years of HR generalist or HR management experience, ideally in global/matrixed environments. Experience in manufacturing, consumer products, food service equipment, or commercial appliances preferred. Strong knowledge of U.S. labor laws and multi‑state HR practices. Experience conducting ER investigations and coaching leaders through employee issues. Background in Learning & Development program creation or facilitation. Ability to influence leaders and operate with urgency in a fast‑moving environment. Strong communication, problem‑solving, and relationship‑building skills. HRIS proficiency; PHR or SHRM‑CP preferred.Additional Information Hybrid Schedule:
