Job Summary:
The position designs, manages, and executes strategies, programs, and platforms that support Virtua's workforce development efforts to impact the organization's current employee population as well as adult & youth populations in communities where business is conducted. This position actively contributes to workforce partnerships, operational goals, and organizational culture through the design, delivery, and evaluation of programs, tools, and assessments. Position Responsibilities Manage programs related to workforce development that may include one or more of the following: internships, Career Ambassadors, Project SEARCH, etc. Design, develop, facilitate, and lead the implementation of identified workforce development strategies. Assess project specific needs through surveys, interviews, focus groups, and/or consultation with managers, vendors, or colleagues. Recommend, utilize, and implement workforce development solutions organization-wide. Develop and implement metrics and tracking mechanisms to build accountability, measure results, and optimize the impact of the Workforce Development function.
Required Experience:
Minimum 5 years of experience in Workforce Development, Human Resources, Community Outreach or related work with an emphasis on program management. Proven experience in cultivating partnerships Must be able to manage multiple projects with aggressive timelines Exceptional project management skills Experience designing and managing workforce development programs Experience and proven results with program evaluation Demonstrated ability to educate a wide range of audiences using varied modalities Exceptional presentation and facilitation skills with ability to create buy-in and build credibility with leadership Excellent interpersonal skills with a proven track record of effectiveness as a team player and project leader who gets results through people and processes Ability to quickly adapt to changing conditions Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree required. Human Resources, Organizational Development, Social Work or related field.
Annual Salary:
$89,574 - $139,253 The actual salary/rate will vary based on applicant's experience as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
