Hybrid What You'll Do:
Responsible for partnering with management to design, implement and monitor tactical Human Resources (HR) programs, policies and initiatives relative to organizational structures, retention, promotions and other employee-related actions to achieve/maintain a company-wide standard of high performance and effectiveness.
Responsibilities Key Responsibilities:
Serve as change champion to support various components of talent acquisition, employee relations and compliance. Analyze trends and/or metrics to develop solutions. Provides consultative services to senior leadership regarding organizational, cultural and other changes that may impact employees. Coach employees on HR policies and procedures, employment/labor laws, conflict resolution and change management to promote a fair and equitable work environment. Partner with management to discuss performance concerns and/or opportunities to identify root causes, offering effective solutions. Team up with strategic business partners in the organization to establish and maintain a unified approach to human resources administration. Assist with managing international human resources functions. May supervise employees, including executing performance management.
Qualifications Education & Credentials:
Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration or a related field; or a combination of post-high school and equal experience may be substituted for education. Master's degree preferred. SPHR or other HR Certification preferred.
Experience:
8 or more years of related human resources management experience, preferably working with executive level business partners.
Technical Skills:
Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Outlook and Word. Proficient with HR information and talent acquisition/management systems and tools.
Other:
Ability to travel as necessary.
Competencies:
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing. Ability to mentor, coach, train and supervise employees. Ability to identify and/or document existing and new processes as well as evaluate their effectiveness, develop improvements and/or recommend changes or alternatives. Ability to strategically plan and serve as a catalyst for organizational change, cultivate a shared vision with others, and motivate others to transfer vision into action. Ability to effectively manage projects that may vary in nature and scope. Ability to interpret and apply related federal, state and local laws, ordinances, rules and regulations related to the administration of human resources/labor relations. Ability to manage conflict and demonstrate the courage to challenge organizational thinking and the status quo. Knowledge of the principles, practices, and standards of human resources, talent acquisition/management and organizational development.
