  • Lead the day-to-day HR operations and multi-state payroll administration
  • Ensure payroll compliance across federal, state, and local regulations
  • Oversee FMLA administration, employee relations, and HR compliance matters
  • Administer benefits programs and support broker negotiations over time
  • Develop and improve HR and payroll policies, procedures, and documentation
  • Partner closely with leadership on workforce planning and organizational initiatives
  • Supervise and mentor an HR Coordinator direct report
  • Manage HRIS/payroll systems, reporting, and process improvements
  • Support recruiting, onboarding, performance management, and employee engagement efforts
  • Assist leadership in creating scalable HR processes as the organization continues to grow What We're Looking For
  • 5+ years of progressive HR, benefits, and payroll experience
  • Strong multi-state payroll and compliance background required
  • Experience handling FMLA administration and HR compliance matters
  • Familiarity with Paylocity or similar payroll/HRIS platforms strongly preferred
  • Experience with benefits administration and willingness to learn broker negotiations
  • Leadership or supervisory experience preferred
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
