Indianapolis, IN Job Details Full-time | Contract Up to $45.49 an hour 15 hours ago Qualifications Collaborate with healthcare professionals Stakeholder engagement Data reporting Bachelor's degree Healthcare compliance Full Job Description Program Coordinator / Workforce Coordinator / Public Health About the Role We are seeking a Rural Health Workforce Coordinator to support a large-scale statewide healthcare initiative focused on improving access to behavioral health services in rural communities. This role is ideal for professionals with experience in program coordination, workforce development, healthcare, or grant management who enjoy working with multiple stakeholders and driving impactful initiatives. Key Responsibilities Coordinate workforce development programs for behavioral health roles (social workers, nurses, peer support, etc.) Support recruitment, training, and placement efforts across rural communities Manage and track workforce-related grants, budgets, and deliverables Ensure compliance with state and federal program requirements Collect, track, and report workforce data and program outcomes Collaborate with healthcare providers, training partners, and community organizations Participate in statewide meetings, planning sessions, and program initiatives Identify workforce gaps and support solutions to improve hiring and retention Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field Minimum 5+ years of experience in Workforce Development OR Program/Project Management OR Grant Management OR Public Health/Healthcare Programs Experience working with healthcare organizations, community programs, or training providers Strong knowledge of compliance, reporting, and program coordination Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Preferred Qualifications Experience with federal or state-funded programs (e.g., grants, CMS programs) Background in behavioral health, rural health, or community health programs Experience working with multiple stakeholders or statewide initiatives
Pay:
