As part of our continued growth strategy, we are preparing to establish operations in South Carolina, one of the fastest-growing industrial and manufacturing markets in the country. We are seeking a highly entrepreneurial, driven, and strategic Business Development / Territory Sales Manager who will serve as our lead representative in South Carolina and play a critical role in building and expanding our presence from the ground up. Position Overview •This is not a traditional sales role •We are seeking a strategic leader and market builder who will help launch and expand our South Carolina territory. This individual will serve as our primary point of contact in the region and will play a key role in growing operations, establishing client relationships, identifying office locations, supporting hiring efforts, building internal teams, and driving long-term market expansion. The ideal candidate is someone with strong staffing, recruiting, industrial sales, or workforce solutions experience who understands the South Carolina market and has existing relationships within manufacturing, logistics, automotive, aerospace, food production, warehousing, or distribution industries. This person must be comfortable operating independently, building a territory from zero, and acting as the face of the company in South Carolina. Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development & Sales Develop and execute a strategic growth plan for South Carolina operations Identify and secure new business opportunities across manufacturing, logistics, aerospace, automotive, distribution, and industrial sectors Generate new client partnerships through cold calling, networking, referrals, in-person visits, LinkedIn outreach, and community engagement Build strong relationships with decision-makers including HR leaders, Operations Managers, Plant Managers, Directors, and Executives Conduct sales presentations, pricing discussions, negotiations, and contract management Meet and exceed sales and revenue growth targets Territory Expansion & Leadership Serve as the primary company representative for South Carolina operations Assist leadership with identifying strategic office locations and market opportunities Support branch launch activities and operational setup Help recruit, onboard, and train future internal staff members as the territory grows Develop local market strategies to expand brand awareness and regional presence Participate in networking events, chambers of commerce, manufacturing associations, and industry events Recruiting & Operational Support Partner with recruiting and operations teams to ensure successful client delivery Assist with workforce planning and staffing strategies for client accounts Support implementations, client visits, and ongoing account management Ensure exceptional customer service and long-term client retention Preferred Industries & Market Focus / Experience across: Automotive Manufacturing Aerospace & Defense Advanced Manufacturing Distribution & Logistics Food Manufacturing Warehousing & Supply Chain Industrial & Skilled Trades Qualifications 5+ years of Business Development, Staffing Sales, Recruiting Sales, or Workforce Solutions experience preferred Strong understanding of the South Carolina business market and industrial landscape Existing network within manufacturing, logistics, distribution, or industrial sectors highly preferred Proven track record of generating new business and managing client relationships Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to build and scale a territory independently Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills Ability to travel locally throughout South Carolina Experience in staffing, recruiting, HR solutions, or B2B sales is highly preferred Bilingual English/SpanishREQUIERED
