Job Description

Position Overview We are seeking a hands-on, strategic Site Human Resources Manager to support a 200-230 employee manufacturing facility (majority production workforce) for a global leader in engineered industrial products and advanced material handling technologies. This role serves as a key HR Business Partner to the Plant Manager and leadership team, providing both tactical and strategic HR support in a lean, fast-paced environment. The HR Manager will play a critical role in shaping culture, improving employee engagement, and supporting long-term organizational growth and stability. Key Responsibilities Serve as a trusted HR Business Partner to site leadership, including Plant Manager and department leaders Provide both strategic and hands-on HR support in a lean manufacturing environment Lead employee relations efforts and support positive employee engagement across the facility Drive key site initiatives including safety, retention, leadership development, and employee training programs Oversee and support compensation and benefits processes, including upcoming compensation structure reviews Partner with leadership on workforce planning, organizational effectiveness, and problem-solving ("identify issue ? develop solution ? execute") Support and execute recruiting efforts as needed in partnership with HR support staff Ensure compliance with company policies, employment laws, and safety standards Deliver clear, concise communication to leadership—able to provide effective updates in a brief, to-the-point format Participate in and support future system integration and HR process improvements Key Focus Areas Employee retention and engagement Safety culture and compliance Leadership development and training programs Compensation structure review and alignment Operational HR support in a manufacturing environment Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required 6+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment 3+ years of direct people management or HR leadership experience preferred Strong background as an HR Business Partner in a plant or operational setting Experience with employee relations, compensation, and benefits administration Exposure to safety programs and manufacturing workforce environments strongly preferred Certification (SHRM-CP or
HRCI PHR
) preferred or required within one year of hire Skills & Competencies Strong communication skills with ability to deliver concise, executive-level updates High comfort level working on the plant floor in a hands-on capacity Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to partner with operations leadership Ability to manage multiple priorities in a lean, fast-moving environment Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build trust across all levels of the organization Proficiency with HR systems and Microsoft Office tools Compensation & Benefits Base salary: $95,000 - $115,000 Monthly performance bonus opportunity up to 20% of base salary Comprehensive benefits package Recruiting Solutions provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability or genetics.
