• Full-time Job Summary Our client, Strongwell, the world's leading pultruder of fiber reinforced polymer composites, is searching for a proven professional for the Corporate Director, Human Resources position.

Headquartered in Bristol, Virginia, the company has pultrusion manufacturing facilities in Bristol and Abingdon, Virginia; Chatfield, Minnesota; and Apodaca, Mexico. Strongwell is a financially strong, privately held company, producing products including structural shapes, grating, handrail, structural building panels, decking systems, composite armor, ladder rail, and many OEM products for its diverse customer base. This position is a fast-track to director level for the right candidate. This critical position is responsible for leading and executing human resources functions across Strongwell's Virginia facilities in Bristol and Abingdon. This role partners closely with the Corporate Director, Human Resources to ensure consistent application of company policies and practices, while maintaining a positive team member relations environment. Responsibilities include employment law compliance, talent acquisition, policy administration, team member engagement, and talent development to support operational and organizational objectives while serving as the primary human resources leader for Virginia Operations. Qualifications BA/BS in Human Resources or related area preferred Minimum of 5 years of progressive human resources experience, preferably in a manufacturing or multi-site environment. Progressive responsibility in HR management, preferably in a manufacturing environment Strong knowledge of employment law and human resources best practices. Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels of the organization. Proficiency with HRIS and Human Capital Management systems and Microsoft Office. HR professional certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or

SHRM-SCP
