Clinical HR Business Partner Position Overview We are seeking a dynamic and relationship-focused Clinical HR Business Partner (HRBP) to serve as a strategic partner to operational and clinical leadership teams. This role is ideal for an experienced HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment and is passionate about supporting clinicians, leaders, and business operations through strategic human resources initiatives. Reporting to senior HR leadership, this individual will provide consultative HR support across employee relations, workforce planning, retention strategies, leadership coaching, onboarding, performance management, compliance, and organizational effectiveness. The successful candidate will act as a trusted advisor, helping leaders navigate complex workforce challenges while driving engagement, retention, and operational success. Key Responsibilities Strategic HR Partnership Serve as the primary HR partner for assigned business units and leadership teams. Collaborate with operational and clinical leaders on workforce planning, talent strategies, and organizational initiatives. Align HR strategies with business objectives and operational priorities. Act as a trusted advisor and change agent to support organizational growth and transformation. Employee Relations & Compliance Provide guidance on employee relations matters, conflict resolution, performance improvement, corrective action, and career development. Conduct and support employee investigations while ensuring appropriate documentation and resolution. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, regulations, and company policies. Advise leaders on HR best practices and risk mitigation strategies. Talent Management & Organizational Effectiveness Support onboarding, engagement, retention, and culture initiatives for clinical and operational teams. Partner with leaders to identify talent development opportunities and succession planning needs. Coach managers and leaders on employee performance, development, and engagement strategies. Analyze workforce trends and organizational effectiveness metrics to identify opportunities for improvement. Workforce Planning & Operational Support Partner with leadership on staffing strategies and workforce planning initiatives. Support large, geographically dispersed employee populations across multiple locations. Help leaders address workforce challenges while balancing operational needs and employee experience. Drive consistency in HR processes and employee programs across business units. Process Improvement & Special Projects Participate in strategic planning initiatives and HR process improvement efforts. Analyze organizational processes and recommend solutions to improve team effectiveness and business outcomes. Lead and support HR projects, initiatives, and change management activities. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve HR service delivery and operational efficiency. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in an HR Business Partner or similar strategic HR role. Experience supporting clinical, healthcare, or operational teams in a fast-paced environment. Strong experience handling employee relations matters, investigations, and multi-state compliance. Thorough knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, and compliance requirements. Proven ability to build trusted relationships and influence leaders at all organizational levels. Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and analytical skills. Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting clinicians, providers, or healthcare operations teams. Experience managing HR support across multi-state or regional employee populations. Supervisory or leadership experience. Professional HR certification such as PHR or SPHR. Experience supporting organizational growth, change management, and transformation initiatives.
