We are the U.S. retail arm of Vaibhav Global Limited (publicly listed in India) with operations in the UK and Germany. Our purpose is Delivering Joy. Through our Your Purchase Feeds… program, every item sold funds a meal for a child in need. We currently provide over 54,000 meals per school day, with a mission to reach one million meals per school day by 2040. We are at a pivotal stage of growth. Operating at the intersection of live television, digital commerce, and global sourcing, we run a fast-paced, 24/7 business at scale. Growth is not our challenge. Scaling leadership capability, decision quality, and culture in a way that sustains growth is. This role exists to address exactly that. We are seeking a senior HR leader who operates not as a traditional support function, but as a true business partner and co-owner of outcomes—someone who shapes how leaders think, how teams perform, and how culture shows up in daily execution. What You'll Do 1. Partner at the Core of the Business You will work directly with senior leaders to influence critical business decisions related to: Organizational structure and design Talent investment vs. cost discipline Trade-offs between speed, scale, and long-term sustainability This role goes beyond "HR alignment." You will shape business outcomes through people and leadership decisions. 2. Build Leadership Where It Matters Most You will partner across a diverse leadership landscape—frontline operators through senior leaders in merchandising, digital, broadcast, and customer experience.
Your focus will include:
Strengthening leadership depth in a high-volume, execution-driven environment Coaching leaders to shift from task management to ownership thinking Building successors and bench strength, not dependencies 3. Shape Culture Through Behavior and Accountability At Shop LC, culture is defined by what leaders do, not what is written.
You will:
Define what high performance and high ownership look like in practice Address gaps where behaviors don't align with intent Hold leaders accountable for how results are achieved—not just what is delivered 4. Lead Direct, Often Difficult Conversations This role requires comfort with challenge and clarity, including: Raising the bar on talent quality, not just retention Calling out organizational inefficiencies and decision bottlenecks Managing performance issues with fairness, honesty, and decisiveness If you prefer consensus-driven HR, this role may feel uncomfortable. If you seek real influence and impact, this is where it happens. 5. Build While Running You will operate in an environment that is still evolving.
That means:
Creating structure while the business continues to move fast Bringing clarity in ambiguous situations Influencing outcomes without relying on hierarchy or formal authority What Success Looks Like Leaders value you not for answers, but for sharper questions and better decisions Talent decisions become faster, clearer, and more intentional High performers stay because they are challenged and developed Culture is visible in day-to-day behavior and results HR is viewed as a performance lever, not a support function What We're Looking For Experience 12-15 years of progressive HR experience, with deep business partnering exposure Background in fast-paced, operations-heavy environments (retail, e-commerce, consumer, or services) Proven ability to influence senior leaders in high-accountability settings What Will Set You Apart Strong understanding of business metrics alongside people dynamics Comfort being the most honest voice in the room Focus on impact over activity Ability to balance empathy with accountability
What You May Find Challenging Pace:
decisions often move ahead of perfect data
Complexity:
multiple business models operating simultaneously
Expectations:
you will be expected to add visible value early What You Will Find Rewarding The opportunity to shape leadership thinking at scale Direct impact on business performance and organizational effectiveness A platform to build and evolve, not just manage A culture that values ownership over hierarchy Final Note This role is for a leader who sees HR not as a function, but as a force multiplier for business performance and human potential. If you thrive in environments with real stakes, real ambiguity, and real impact—we'd like to talk. Benefits of working at Shop LC 100% Company paid, employee-only medical, dental, vision, and life insurance. 4% 401(k) matching. Microenterprise Incentives. Up to 15 days of PTO & vacation time, maternity/paternity leave, company-covered short-term & long-term disability, paid training time, paid volunteer time, 7 paid holidays. Corporate discounts, employee sales, Employee Assistance Program. Tuition reimbursement and scholarship (for dependents going to college). A great work environment, where you will learn, be challenged/ supported and given projects that reflect your interests, and you can own/ take pride in!
