JOB SUMMARY
The Human Resources Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and directing the administrative functions of the Human Resources department. This role will oversee recruitment, employee relations, compliance, benefits administration, performance management, and training initiatives while ensuring alignment with company goals and policies.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including recruiting, onboarding, retention, and offboarding Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and programs Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations Administer employee benefits, leave programs, and payroll coordination Serve as a resource for employee relations, conflict resolution, and performance management Coordinate training and development initiatives for employees and supervisors Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation Support safety initiatives and collaborate with management on workplace compliance Assist leadership with workforce planning and organizational development Manage HR metrics and reporting to support business decisions
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred Minimum of 3-5 years of Human Resources experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment Strong knowledge of employment law, HR best practices, and compliance requirements Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion Experience with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office applications SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification is a plus
PREFERRED SKILLS
Experience supporting ISO-certified manufacturing environments Strong problem-solving and leadership abilities Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
