Position Overview We're looking for a motivated, people-focused HR Business Partner (HRBP) to serve as a trusted partner to our leaders and employees. You'll help shape workplace culture, support talent growth, and keep our HR operations running smoothly, all while playing a key role in our hospital's success. Key Responsibilities Partnering with leadership to support workforce strategy and employee engagement Handling employee relations with care, professionalism, and fairness Supporting recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, promotions, and transfers Leading performance management and employee development efforts Helping design and deliver training programs Ensuring compliance with employment laws and healthcare regulations Managing benefits, FMLA, Workers' Comp, and ADA processes Keeping payroll/timekeeping accurate and HR records up to date Tracking HR metrics and assisting leadership with data-driven decisions Responding to Texas Workforce Commission claims when needed Qualifications Associate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required (Bachelor's preferred) Minimum one year HR experience in a healthcare setting preferred Strong understanding of employment law and healthcare regulatory compliance Excellent analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills Ability to manage confidential information with discretion Why join UMH?
