We're currently seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Human Resources & Business Office Manager to join our leadership team. This is a unique dual-role position ideal for someone who thrives in both people management and administrative excellence.
What You'll Do:
As HR Manager:
Lead recruitment, onboarding, and retention for clinical and non-clinical staff Support a positive and compliant workplace culture Manage employee relations, HR policies, and training programs Maintain accurate employee files and oversee payroll processing Ensure compliance with healthcare employment laws and standards
As Business Office Manager:
Oversee billing, collections, and resident trust accounts Manage Medicaid, Medicare, and private insurance processes Ensure accurate month-end closing and financial reporting Collaborate with the Administrator and department heads on budgeting and census reporting Serve as a liaison with families regarding financial questions
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in HR, business office management, or healthcare administration (preferably in long-term care) Strong knowledge of HR best practices, payroll systems, and billing procedures Familiarity with Medicare/Medicaid, insurance authorizations, and collections Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills Proficient in Microsoft Office and healthcare software systems (e.g., PointClickCare, Empeon)
