13 paid days per year Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. 4 years of experience in data analytics, trust and safety, policy, cybersecurity, or related fields. Experience creating, maintaining, and reporting on educational content, training guides, or partner-facing documentation.
Preferred qualifications:
Master's degree in relevant field. Experience with or education in machine learning. Experience in SQL, building dashboards, data collection/transformation, visualization/dashboards, or a scripting/programming language (e.g., Python). Excellent communication and presentation skills (written and verbal) and the ability to influence cross-functionally at various levels. Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills with attention to detail in an ever-changing environment. About the job Trust and Safety team members are tasked with identifying and taking on the biggest problems that challenge the safety and integrity of our products. They use technical know-how, excellent problem-solving skills, user insights, and proactive communication to protect users and our partners from abuse across Google products like Search, Maps, Gmail, and Google Ads. On this team, you're a big-picture thinker and strategic team-player with a passion for doing what's right. You work globally and cross-functionally with Google engineers and product managers to identify and fight abuse and fraud cases at Google speed - with urgency. As a Monetization Experience Specialist, you will drive the operational excellence and long-term health of safety programs that protect our advertising and publishing ecosystems. Your role focuses on the practical execution and maintenance of safety frameworks that allow our monetization ecosystem to grow responsibly. You will ensure that policies are clearly communicated, consistently applied, and effectively tracked across the external partner journey. While your primary focus will be on the publisher monetization experience, you will also contribute to the advertiser experience by refining Trust and Safety communications and support materials. You will also manage essential workflows, coordinate with cross-functional partners, and report on the continued health of our advertising platform. A team of Analysts, Policy Specialists, Engineers, and Program Managers, we work to reduce risk and fight abuse across all of Google's products, protecting our users, advertisers, and publishers across the globe in over 40 languages. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $117,000-$167,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities Analyze publisher and policy performance metrics to identify systemic gaps and recommend policy iterations to ensure business growth remains aligned with ecosystem safety standards. Coordinate the logistical rollout of monetization policy updates by building execution trackers and ensuring publishers receive clear, timely guidance for compliance. Design and operationalize a proactive, publisher-facing educational strategy to simplify policies, reduce partner friction, and ensure all training materials remain accurate and relevant. Act as the operational bridge between regional Account Management and Global Policy teams to ensure consistent implementation of monetization safety initiatives. Identify common points of friction in the advertiser safety journey and maintain data reports that track how messaging improvements impact partner satisfaction. Ensure advertiser-facing safety materials are synchronized with current policy enforcement practices through regular collaboration with product and enforcement teams.
