Position Overview Empire Therapy is seeking an HR Manager to support onboarding, compliance, credentialing, and core human resources operations. This role plays a key part in ensuring employment practices align with state and federal requirements while supporting a positive employee experience. The HR Manager works closely with leadership to maintain compliance, support employee relations, and keep HR systems organized and effective. This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional looking to gain hands-on experience in a regulated healthcare environment. Key Responsibilities Coordinate onboarding and orientation for new hires, ensuring completion of required documentation and compliance items Maintain accurate and confidential personnel files in accordance with employment laws and internal standards Support compliance with employment regulations, including PFML, FMLA, unemployment claims, licensure tracking, and audits Assist with payroll processing by coordinating timekeeping, stipends, bonuses, and pay corrections with leadership Administer and track employee benefits, including 401(k) participation, stipends, and benefit-related inquiries Serve as a point of contact for employee HR questions, providing guidance on policies and procedures Support performance review processes, including 90-day, quarterly, and annual reviews Assist with recruiting efforts by posting positions, screening applicants, and coordinating interviews Communicate with external agencies as needed (ESD, L&I, credentialing organizations) Support leadership in maintaining compliant and consistent HR practices Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources 1-2 years of experience in Human Resources, HR Administration, or a related role Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism Clear written and verbal communication skills Comfort working in a fast-paced, evolving healthcare environment Experience in healthcare or other regulated industries Familiarity with payroll systems and HRIS platforms Working knowledge of Washington State employment laws Benefits & Perks Competitive hourly pay starting rate of $24.00 per hour 401(k) retirement plan Paid Time Off Health insurance options On-site childcare available COR Institute Wellness Gold Membership (access to advanced wellness and recovery services) No nights or weekends
