Job Description
Our Robert Half team is seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead the human resources operations for one of our clients in manufacturing. The ideal candidate will have direct experience working in unionized manufacturing settings and be a dynamic leader capable of driving critical HR initiatives that support business objectives. Partner with union representatives and management to address labor relations topics, negotiate contracts, resolve grievances, and maintain positive union relationships.
Lead workforce planning and talent management initiatives to support hiring, retention, skills development, and succession planning.
Implement and optimize HR technology, automation, and analytics to improve operational efficiencies.
Drive employee engagement and foster a positive workplace culture through effective communication and support of employee programs.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal labor laws as well as collective bargaining agreements.
Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives while continuously improving HR processes and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage all HR functions including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compliance, and HRIS administration, ensuring policies and practices align with business needs.Partner with union representatives and management to address labor relations topics, negotiate contracts, resolve grievances, and maintain positive union relationships.
