Job Description

Leadership Partners with the leadership team to understand their key issues and business needs and provide sound HR advice and consultation on issues around people management, development and organization effectiveness. Translate business strategies and objectives into the appropriate P&C actions and initiatives. Coaches, collaborates and partners with management team to provide leadership and proactive solutions for people and organizational issues. Leads and develops the P&C Team, ensures the team receives the proper training and resources to effectively and efficiently perform their jobs. Manages and updates policies, guidelines, and governance to validate accuracy and current state; creates and implements new policies as required and approved. Collaborates with leadership to solve problems, implement and integrate tools/systems, and serve as the functional expert for the team. Develops and utilizes metrics and reporting to inform leadership and influence business decisions. Talent Management and Development Creates and implements enterprise talent management and development infrastructure, framework and strategies. Manages organization's succession management strategy, leadership development program, and performance management process. Consults and partner with management on employee development plans and career mapping opportunities. Designs, organizes, and conducts training and development programs for employees to improve individual and organizational performance. Health and Safety Manages and oversees all aspects of health and safety ensuring we are providing the safest work environment for all employees. Leads regulatory and corporate reporting, safety management system, and compliance records and permits. Develops and oversees employee safety training programs regarding expected behaviors and compliance. Keeps current with all government safety and health laws, standards, and regulations. Leads workers compensation process including communication with the insurance carrier, return to work management, litigation, and annual reporting/postings.
