Job Overview
FEN-TECH
is a window and door manufacturing company located in Superior, Wisconsin. As an industry expert in the bending, welding and processing of PVC based extrusions, FEN-TECH services numerous large window companies throughout the country. We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Human Resources Manager to join our team! Responsibilities
  • Oversee the daily functions of the HR department including recruitment and the onboarding process of new team members, maintain employee records, including employee benefits, leave policies, warnings and terminations
  • Communicate with the company's insurance representatives regarding open enrollment, changes with insurance plans, and Workman's compensation claims
  • Maintain and update employee policy handbooks
  • Assist payroll department
  • Manage and resolve employee relations issues. Conduct effective, thorough, and objective investigations while maintaining confidentiality and respect towards the employee
  • Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale and increase productivity and retention
  • Maintain knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees and ensuring regulatory compliance
  • Work directly with the Operations Manager/Safety Director to assist with monthly committee meetings, order first aid supplies and PPE, maintain Safety Data Sheet Manuals, maintain evacuation plans and roster, ensure that all employee safety certifications are current.
Keep track of all injury reports, filing appropriately, and record required incidents on
OSHA 300
form.
  • Assist with the planning and coordination of company events and daily employee hospitality
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 2 years HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of employment and labor laws
  • Ability to use a PC and related computer programs (MS Office, Gmail/Outlook, etc.)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time

Monday-Friday, 20 hours/wk, start and end times negotiable. Pay is dependent on experience.
