This role reports directly to the CEO and works closely with underground, surface, and plant leadership, as well as bookkeeping, to ensure a compliant, accountable, and well-supported workforce. Duties & Experience 5+ years HR experience in coal mining or heavy industrial operations Demonstrated experience in handling payroll execution Working knowledge of QuickBooks (payroll module preferred) Strong understanding of MSHA regulations and mining workforce requirements Strong employee relations and compliance background Ability to operate effectively in a hands-on, field environment
Preferred:
