Job Description

Job Purpose:
The Human Resource Director is directly responsible for the overall administration, coordination and evaluation of the human resources functions, and will perform as a branch of Management specializing in communication with all employees, from front line workers to CEO with the primary goal being to foster an overall safe and pleasant work environment while building a reputation to ensure sustainable growth. The HR Director acts as the point of reference for employees and Management who need assistance or information regarding personnel issues. Monthly, Quarterly and Yearly reporting to local and government agencies (Semi-Monthly Labor Reports, BLS, OSHA-300, EEOC-1) are a core responsibility of this position as is the application and oversight of the company's H2b Visa program.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Responsible for annual review of company policies, procedures and practices on personnel matters with prudent update recommendations for Executive team. Communicates changes in personnel policies and procedures and ensures proper compliance is followed. Maintains knowledge of industry trends to facilitate compliance and promote department efficiency (i.e. technology implementation, new techniques and procedures). Maintains responsibility for agency compliance with federal and state legislation pertaining to all personnel matters. Lead recruiting and staffing. Thoroughly investigate complaints and apply prudent solutions with follow-through. Knowledge of Unemployment, Workers Compensation, FMLA and Minor Worker requirements. Knowledge of local Workforce Center site to advertise hiring needs. Develop and maintain benefits administration. Clearly communicate coaching issues to Executive team and Management regarding their employees. Work closely with GM's regarding International hiring (H2b/J-1) and Workamper recruiting. Onboarding of new employees, local-international-Workamper (knowledge E-verify for I-9's). Oversight of ordering and the distribution of uniforms to employees. Knowledge of ACA 1095s. Responsible for OSHA 310 and BLS reporting. Assist payroll in tracking eligibility for benefits and acknowledgement of such benefits. Ability to conduct Terminations. Periodic travel to all company properties. Organization/Set-Up/Participation in Job Fairs, Face in Community. Assist in the annual review, preparation and administration of property wage program. Complete additional assignments given by
CEO, CFO.
Qualifications:
5 years of HR Management/Leadership experience, or demonstrable career progression in Human Resources Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, Psychology or Communications Enterprise HR software experience or Paycom software experience. H2b/International hiring experience preferred. Spanish speaking skills preferred. Strategic Thinking. Decision Making. Communications Proficiency. Presentation Skills. Conflict resolution. Capable of working in a fast-paced environment with multiple interruptions. Must be able to lift 25 to 30lbs. Must be capable of frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, standing, walking and carrying. Must be flexible in hours and days available to work in accordance with business needs.
