Job Description

HR Operations Intern
AeroSpec, Inc. Chandler, AZ 85225 Posted 3 days Chandler, AZ Part-Time (20-24 hrs/week) Looking to break into HR while getting real, hands-on experience in a fast-paced engineering and manufacturing environment? This isn't a "sit back and observe" internship, you'll be in the middle of the action. You'll work directly with our Head of People, supporting everything from hiring skilled technicians and engineers to improving onboarding, training, and employee experience across both the office and shop floor. What You'll Actually Do Help hire the people who build our machines (technicians, machinists, engineers)
Support onboarding, from paperwork to first day on the shop floor
Get involved in employee engagement and culture initiatives
Assist with training tracking, certifications, and workforce development
Work on real projects like career paths, process improvements, and HR systems
Spend time where the work happens, not just behind a desk What We're Looking For Someone curious about HR, people operations, or business
Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable taking initiative
Strong communicator who can work with both office and shop teams
Interested in engineering, manufacturing, or hands-on environments What You'll Get Direct mentorship from the Head of People
