Glendale, Arizona, United States Talascend is currently seeking a HRIS Business Analyst for a contract opportunity with our client in Glendale, Arizona. Overview The HRIS Business Analyst supports the HR digital transformation by analyzing, designing, and optimizing HR service delivery solutions within ServiceNow and SAP SuccessFactors, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and compliance. The role includes both system configuration support and process analysis to enhance the employee experience. Responsibilities Configure, maintain, and enhance ServiceNow HRSD modules, including case management, employee portal, lifecycle events, HR services, document management, and workflows.
Serve as the primary functional owner for the HRSD platform, including planning, releases, and continual improvement initiatives.
Develop and maintain user stories, functional requirements, test scripts, and acceptance criteria.
Troubleshoot HRSD issues, perform root cause analysis, and collaborate with technical teams to resolve defects.
Conduct impact assessments, regression testing, data validation, and user acceptance testing.
Identify opportunities to automate and streamline HR workflows, reducing manual effort.
Ensure all ServiceNow configurations comply with HR governance, data integrity, and security standards.
Partner with HR operations, centers of excellence, and business leaders to understand HR processes and inform HRSD solution design.
Map processes, perform gap analysis, and document workflow improvements to optimize HR functions.
Support SAP SuccessFactors configuration, testing, and troubleshooting as needed.
Assist with HR digital transformation initiatives across the employee lifecycle in coordination with HR systems. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in human resources, information systems, business administration, or a related field.
Minimum of four (4) years of system support experience or eight (8) years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
Three (3) or more years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow HRSD, including configuration and module support.
Experience developing user stories, functional requirements, test scripts, and acceptance criteria.
Strong troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem-solving skills.
Working knowledge of HR business processes, process mapping, and optimization opportunities.
Excellent communication skills to bridge technical concepts for HR stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
ServiceNow HRSD Fundamentals or HRSD Implementation Specialist certification.
Experience with SAP SuccessFactors configuration, testing, and troubleshooting.
Experience supporting global HR operations or complex, multi-module HR environments.
