Job Description

Position Summary We are seeking a Student Recruiter/Enrollment Specialist to recruit, engage, and enroll high school students into our academic programs. This is a field-based outreach and recruitment role focused on community engagement, student recruitment, and enrollment management. The ideal candidate is comfortable working toward measurable goals and performance targets and has experience in recruiting, military recruiting, admissions, or community outreach . They should thrive in a performance-driven, target-based environment. This role requires strong communication skills, persistence, and the ability to build meaningful relationships with students, families, and community partners to drive enrollment growth. Primary Responsibilities Actively recruit and enroll eligible high school students into the school's academic programs Maintain a consistent presence in the community through outreach visits, presentations, and relationship-building Identify and develop partnerships with community organizations, referral sources, and local stakeholders Conduct student and family outreach through phone calls, in-person visits, and follow-up communication Guide prospective students and families through the enrollment process from initial contact to completed enrollment Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all recruitment activities in Monday.com Attend and represent the school at community events, information sessions, and outreach activities Collaborate with school staff to ensure a smooth enrollment and transition process for new students Maintain professionalism and confidentiality in all communications and interactions Support retention efforts by maintaining communication with newly enrolled students during the initial transition period Performance Expectations (Required Minimum Standards) The following expectations are established to ensure consistent outreach and enrollment growth. These expectations may be adjusted based on enrollment cycles and organizational needs.
Weekly Outreach Expectations:
Minimum 20 in-person outreach visits (ex. Army Recruiting Centers) Minimum 50 direct student or family contacts (calls, texts, or in-person conversations) Minimum 7-10 scheduled enrollment appointments per week Minimum 5 completed student enrollments per week
Monthly Performance Expectations:
Minimum 20 completed student enrollments per month Maintain accurate documentation of all outreach and enrollment activities in the student tracking system Demonstrate consistent follow-up with prospective students until enrollment is completed
Accountability Expectations:
Daily activity must reflect active recruiting and enrollment efforts Outreach and enrollment activity must be documented in the designated system (Monday.com) Recruiters are expected to work independently and maintain a results-driven mindset Failure to meet performance expectations may result in coaching, performance improvement plans, or disciplinary action Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card Proven experience in recruiting, sales, outreach, admissions, or relationship-based roles Ability to work independently and meet performance goals Strong communication and relationship-building skills Ability to manage time effectively and maintain consistent outreach activity Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to travel locally for outreach and recruitment activities Basic computer skills and ability to use data tracking systems Occasional out-of-town travel required for student enrollments Preferred Qualifications Military recruiter experience strongly preferred Experience working with high school students or alternative education programs Experience in enrollment management, community outreach, or student recruitment Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred, but not required Experience working with diverse student populations Work Environment and Schedule (Business Vehicle and Cell Phone provided based on availability). This is a field-based position requiring regular travel within the service area Work schedule may include occasional evenings or community events as needed Recruiters are expected to maintain consistent outreach activity throughout the workweek Position requires regular travel both within and outside the service area Office check-ins and meetings will be required as directed by leadership Physical Requirements Ability to travel to multiple community locations daily Ability to stand, walk, and engage with community members for extended periods Ability to lift and transport outreach materials as needed
Pay:
$50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
