Position Summary The Regional HR Specialist is responsible for supporting day-to-day human resources operations for assigned offices in Agoura Hills, Gardena and Santa Barbara. This role focuses on recruitment, interviewing, onboarding, employee relations support, training, employee recognition, performance documentation support, separations, employee records management, benefits support, mileage audit assistance, and maintaining a consistent HR presence throughout the region. This is a salaried, exempt position based in the Agoura Hills office and requires regular travel between assigned offices. Key Responsibilities Recruitment & Hiring Support Post open positions and manage applicant flow Screen resumes and qualified applicants Conduct initial interviews Coordinate second interviews with leadership Prepare offer letters and pre-employment documents Support hiring managers throughout the recruitment process Onboarding & New Hire Experience Manage onboarding process for all new hires in assigned region Ensure completion of required employment documents Coordinate orientation, policies, and training assignments Serve as primary HR contact for new employees during onboarding HR Administration Maintain accurate personnel files and HR documentation Track required certifications, trainings, and compliance items Ensure records are organized, updated, and audit-ready Support general employee HR requests and questions Employee Relations & Performance Support Assist leadership with documentation related to personnel issues Support coaching conversations and communication of performance expectations Assist with Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs) and follow-up documentation Help reinforce workplace expectations, accountability, and company standards Separations & Exit Processes Conduct termination meetings as directed by leadership Provide final paycheck and separation paperwork in compliance with company procedures Conduct exit interviews and gather employee feedback Ensure offboarding documentation is completed accurately Benefits & Employee Support Assist employees with benefit enrollment and changes Respond to general benefits questions Support open enrollment and benefits administration processes Mileage Audit Support Review mileage submissions for accuracy and completeness Flag discrepancies and submit approved audits to leadership Employee Engagement, Recognition & Training Coordinate employee recognition efforts and morale initiatives Support team-building activities across offices Facilitate HR trainings and policy refreshers in each location Promote a positive, professional workplace culture Regional Office Support Maintain daily presence in the Agoura Hills home office Travel regularly to Gardena and Santa Barbara offices Provide in-person HR support and visibility Build positive working relationships with employees and managers Promote consistency in HR processes across locations
Pay:
$72,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
