Job Description

We are looking for an HR Generalist to support recruiting and employee-facing human resources activities for an engineering environment in Arcadia, Wisconsin. This is a Contract position focused on attracting skilled hourly talent, coordinating hiring activities, and providing day-to-day HR support across onboarding, employee relations, and compliance. The ideal candidate brings a practical approach to recruitment and HR administration, along with the ability to build strong partnerships with leaders and employees in a fast-moving setting.
Responsibilities:
  • Drive end-to-end hiring efforts for skilled trades and production roles, from opening requisitions through offer coordination.
  • Build talent pipelines using online sourcing, community partnerships, referrals, social platforms, trade programs, and local networking opportunities.
  • Arrange interviews, support hiring events, and keep candidates informed with timely updates throughout the selection process.
  • Track applicant activity, maintain accurate recruiting records, and report on hiring progress and workforce metrics.
  • Create and adjust recruiting plans to help meet urgent staffing targets in a competitive labor market.
  • Lead new employee onboarding activities, including orientation scheduling and preparation of employment documentation.
  • Respond to employee questions, provide guidance on workplace policies, and assist with routine employee relations matters.
  • Maintain organized personnel files and HR records to support compliance and internal documentation standards.
  • Collaborate with site leadership on human resources initiatives that strengthen workforce operations and employee experience.
