GED Driver's License Full Job Description JOB Examination Schedule:
Written Exam:
qualified candidates will be notified of the written examination date 5 days prior to the examination.
Oral Exam:
qualified candidates will be notified of the oral examination date 5 days prior to the examination.
Examinations:
Written Exam (Weight 30%) may include knowledge of basic human resource programs; basic functions of a human resources department; office operations and clerical functions; business English including Spelling, punctuation, grammar and vocabulary, principles and methods of public relations/customer service and interviewing techniques; data gathering, compilation and report writing, and other relevant topics. Oral Exam (Weight 70%) will be conducted for the purpose of appraising training, education, experience, interest and personal fitness for the position.

The Human Resources Division may limit the number advancing to the oral exam to the top 24 based upon the final earned results of the written test.

If the number of applicants successful on the written exam is insufficient to merit an oral exam, the written exam shall be weighted at 100%.Applicants must attain at least a 70% score on each phase of the examination process.

Minimum Qualifications /
Employment Standards:
High School Diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent and one (1) year of education, training and/or experience sufficient to obtain the knowledge and skill to successfully perform the essential duties of the job.

Qualifying related work experience may include job tasks in one of the following areas: payroll, employee benefits, employment services and employee relations.

Possession of a valid California Motor Vehicle Driver's License.
