Human Resources Manager About Found Rental Co. As a premier luxury event furnishing rental company, we partner with clients to transform their visions into unforgettable experiences. Our success is built on a foundation of strong values and a passionate team. We firmly believe in our purpose of creating spaces that inspire and bring comfort to foster deeper human connections. Our team lives by five core values, and we are looking for someone who not only understands them, but actively works/lives by them.
Collaboration:
We succeed as a team
Heart:
We relentlessly care for others
Authenticity:
We bring our best self
Integrity:
We do the right thing
Reliability:
We are dependable The Role Found Rental Co. is seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Human Resources Generalist to manage and support a wide-range of human resource and administrative functions across the company. This role is essential to creating an exceptional employee experience, from the moment a candidate applies to their first day, through their growth and, when the time comes, their transition out of the company. The ideal candidate is both people-savvy and process-driven. Someone who brings warmth and genuine care to employee interactions while maintaining rigorous attention to compliance, documentation, and operational accuracy. You will serve as a trusted resource for employees and managers alike, handling sensitive matters with discretion while contributing to the long-term people strategy of a dynamic and growing organization. This role requires strong working knowledge of California labor law, hands-on experience with HRIS and payroll systems, and the ability to manage multiple priorities with grace. If you thrive in an environment where no two days look exactly the same, and where you can see the direct impact of your work on the people around you, this role was built for you.
The Found Difference:
Our Core Values in Action Collaboration (Succeed as a Team): You are a connector at the heart of our organization. You partner with department managers on hiring, work alongside finance on payroll accuracy, and coordinate with leadership on compliance and strategy. Success in this role means recognizing your work enables every other team to function at its best. You share knowledge openly, seek input before making decisions that affect others, and celebrate wins as a team. Heart (Relentlessly Care for Others): People are our most-valuable asset, and you treat them that way. Whether you're guiding a new hire through their first week, sitting with an employee who has a sensitive concern, or processing a separation with empathy and professionalism, you lead with genuine care. You take the time to truly listen. You go beyond the minimum to ensure employees feel seen, supported, and respected - especially in their most vulnerable times. Authenticity (Bring Your Best Self): You show up as a real, grounded person, not just a policy enforcer or a process machine. You communicate honestly, even when the message is difficult. You build real relationships with the people you serve and are not afraid to acknowledge when something could be done better. You represent Found Rental Co. with integrity in every conversation, and you bring your unique perspective and ideas to help a stronger, more vibrant workplace culture Integrity (Do the Right Thing): HR is a role defined by trust. You handle confidential information with absolute discretion. You apply policies consistently and fairly, regardless of seniority or circumstances. You don't look for shortcuts in compliance because it's inconvenient. When you encounter a gray area, you seek guidance rather than assumptions. Employees and managers alike trust you because they know you will always be straight with them. Reliability (Be Dependable): Employees depend on accurate paychecks, timely responses, and consistent follow-through. You don't let things fall through the cracks. Deadlines matter to you, not because someone is watching, but because you understand that behind every task is a person counting on you.
