Responsibilities Support with recruitment and all onboarding processes Coordinate new hire orientation and ensure a smooth onboarding experience. Serve as a trusted resource for employees and managers regarding HR policies, procedures, and employee relations matters. Administer employee benefits programs and assist employees with benefits-related questions. Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data Support performance management, employee engagement, and training initiatives. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies. Assist with payroll processing by reviewing timesheets, tracking PTO, verifying employee information, and coordinating with payroll providers to ensure timely and accurate payroll administration. Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, benefits, leaves of absence, and HR programs. Administer employee benefits, leaves of absence, and workers' compensation programs. Generate HR reports and assist with audits and compliance reviews. Help develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and best practices. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred. 2+ years of HR Generalist experience. Strong knowledge of California employment laws and HR best practices. Experience supporting payroll administration and benefits programs. Experience with HRIS and payroll systems. Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
