Opportunity:
The City of Lake Forest is seeking a skilled and motivated Human Resources Analyst to join the Human Resources division in the City Manager's Office. This position will perform a wide range of Human Resources functions including recruitment, classification & compensation, leave management, and special projects. This newly created role reports to the Human Resources Manager and plays a vital part in delivering exceptional service to City departments and employees. Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate is a well-rounded Human Resources professional who: Demonstrates strong analytical skills and sound judgment Has experience in recruitment, classification/compensation, and benefits Communicates effectively and builds strong working relationships Is comfortable advising departments and managing complex issues Familiarity with Human Resources Information System platforms such as ADP and NEOGOV is desirable.
Qualifications:
A typical way to obtain the qualification to perform the duties of this classification is as follows: Graduation from a four-year college or university with a bachelor's degree in business administration, public administration, or a closely related field and two years of professional experience in administrative and management analysis; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
