JOB SUMMARYCHA
Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center (HPMC) is an acute care facility that has been caring for the Hollywood community and surrounding areas since 1924. The hospital is committed to serving local multicultural communities with quality medical and nursing care. HPMC is part of a global healthcare enterprise which owns and operates general hospitals throughout Korea, numerous fertility and research centers in the U.S. and Korea including CHA Fertility Center, a medical university, and CHAUM (a premier anti-aging life center).
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL
FUNCTIONSPosition Summary:
Provide day-to-day HR support to employees and managers, including policy guidance and issue resolutionAnswers phone calls and answers general HR questionsAssist with employee relations, including investigations and documentationSupport recruitment, onboarding, and workforce changesMaintain accurate employee records and HRIS dataAssist with performance management and employee development processesEnsure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policiesSupport administration of employee programs and initiativesAssist with development and maintenance of HR policies and proceduresTrack required licenses, certifications, and trainingIdentify and support process improvements across HR functionsAssist with HR reporting and data trackingSupport training, orientation, and employee communicationsPartner with departments to support operational and workforce needsJOB QUALIFICATIONMinimum EducationHigh school diploma or equivalentPreferred EducationBachelors degree in human resources or related field preferred.

Minimum Work Experience and QualificationsExcellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with employees and stakeholders.

Knowledge and experience with California employment laws, compensations, benefits administration, employee relations, and recruitment.

Computer literate.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Ability to effectively communicate and engage at all levels of the organization, with strong verbal and writing communicational skills.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.

Ability to prioritize workload and self-manage projects, handle multiple tasks and meet strict deadlinesPreferred Work Experience and Qualifications2 years of experience in HR roles within a healthcare setting, preferably in an acute care hospital environment.

Understanding of HR practices, employment laws, and regulatory requirements specific to the healthcare industry.

Experience with HRIS systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Required Licensure, Certification, Registration or DesignationCurrent Los Angeles County Fire Card (required within 30 days of hire)Assault Response Competency (ARC) (required within 30 days of hire)
