Job Description:

Established organization is seeking an HR Generalist with payroll processing experience on a temporary basis in the greater Pasadena, CA area. Pay ranges from $26-28/hr.

Responsibilities:

Process and administer payroll accurately and on schedule, including timekeeping, deductions, bonuses, and corrections Ensure payroll compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws Serve as a point of contact for employee payroll, benefits, and HR-related inquiries in both English and Spanish Support employee onboarding, offboarding, and personnel file maintenance Assist with benefits administration, including enrollments, changes, and employee education Partner with managers to address employee relations issues and provide HR guidance Maintain HRIS data, reports, and personnel records with strict confidentiality Support performance management, disciplinary actions, and compliance documentation Assist with audits, policy updates, and HR projects as needed

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience) Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English (required) 2+ years of HR Generalist experience, including payroll processing Working knowledge of HRIS and payroll systems Strong understanding of wage and hour laws, employment regulations, and HR best practices Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills High level of discretion and attention to detail All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
