California Correctional Health Care Services (CCHCS) seeks to fill Permanent/Full Time Labor Relations Specialist positions in the Labor Relations Unit (LRU). Under the general direction of the Labor Relations Manager I, the Labor Relations Specialist performs specialized work in the field of public labor relations by conducting research and providing consultation and guidance to the Department on union-related issues and by serving as a representative of the Department in various settings. This position is located in Labor Relations, Performance Management, and Staff Development. Staff in this program are responsible for promoting harmonious labor relations between CCHCS, its employees, and employee organizations; providing management/supervisors with the tools and resources necessary to carry out the state's progressive disciplinary process; and delivering effective and innovative training to further employees' professional growth.
