Job Description:
HR Generalist (Temp-to-Hire) We are seeking a dynamic and people-focused HR Generalist to support programs that serve children, families, and school-based environments. This is a great opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys balancing recruiting, employee relations, and HR operations in a collaborative, mission-driven, and non-corporate setting. What You'll Do This is a true generalist role with a 50/50 split: ?? Recruiting, Onboarding & HR Operations Lead full-cycle recruiting (a top priority) Coordinate onboarding and new hire experience Manage HR administrative processes and systems Partner with hiring managers across multiple locations ?? Employee Relations Support employee questions and workplace concerns Partner with leadership to resolve HR matters Promote a positive, inclusive, and people-first culture What We're Looking For 3+ years of recruiting experience Strong organization and multitasking skills Tech-savvy (experience with HRIS systems preferred) Ability to balance administrative and employee-facing work Strong knowledge of California employment law Experience with HRIS systems (Paycom preferred/a plus) Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities Valid driver's license and ability to travel Comfortable working in environments connected to schools and youth programs Friendly, approachable, and easygoing Strong interpersonal and communication skills Adaptable and collaborative Nice to Have Nonprofit experience School district or education-related background All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
