Job Description
Robert Half is working with a well-established organization is seeking an experienced and proactive Senior Human Resources Generalist to support key HR programs and serve as a trusted partner to designated business units. This position is ideal for an HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels in employee relations, and enjoys providing comprehensive HR support across the full employee lifecycle—from onboarding and payroll to compliance and engagement initiatives.
Position OverviewThe Senior HR Generalist will perform a wide range of professional human resources duties while partnering closely with HR leadership to support employees and managers across multiple departments. This role will be responsible for administering HR programs, managing employee relations matters, supporting payroll processes, maintaining compliance, and ensuring accurate HRIS data management.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and capable of balancing both strategic HR initiatives and day-to-day HR operations.
Key ResponsibilitiesProcess weekly payroll and collaborate with internal payroll teams to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
Serve as a senior HR point of contact for employee relations matters, partnering with HR leadership to address and resolve issues effectively.
Support HR administrative processes including new hire documentation, employment status changes, terminations, and exit interviews.
Coordinate onboarding processes and ensure all required documentation is completed for new employees.
Administer employee benefits including enrollments, changes, terminations, and COBRA processes through third-party administrators.
Manage leaves of absence including FMLA and other leave programs while coordinating required documentation and accommodations.
Maintain accurate HRIS records and employee personnel files while ensuring data integrity and compliance.
Support performance management processes including evaluations, salary review cycles, and retention initiatives.
Coordinate employment verification requests, internal audits, and compliance reporting.
Track and manage immigration sponsorship documentation and coordinate with immigration counsel when needed.
Assist with planning and scheduling employee training programs and development initiatives.
Support HR projects, employee engagement initiatives, and company-wide programs.
Partner with internal teams to coordinate employee events and engagement activities.
Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws as well as HR best practices.
