Human Resources Generalist The Rosen Group - 3.9 San Diego, CA Job Details Contract 1 hour ago Qualifications Spanish Full cycle recruiting Bachelor's degree Employee engagement Business Full Job Description Our client is seeking an operational, high-touch Human Resources Generalist (HRG) for a 6-month contract role at for their San Diego, CA plant and depot facility. You will handle daily field HR functions, working closely with the General Manager and plant leadership to drive non-exempt recruitment, maintain compliance, and champion a positive work environment for our Associates. If you have outstanding interpersonal savvy and thrive in a fast-paced, floor-visible industrial or manufacturing setting, this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities Hourly Recruiting & Onboarding:
Execute full-lifecycle field recruiting and high-touch onboarding workflows via iCIMS for hourly employees.
Associate Engagement & Culture:
Complete daily floor walks to build trust with Associates. Facilitate new hire orientations, lead 30/60/90-day check-ins, and support the facility's Be Remarkable culture initiatives.
Performance Coaching:
Guide supervisors through our Coaching for Performance and Development (CPD) framework and provide professional guidance on structured Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs).
Investigations & Compliance:
Conduct end-to-end workplace investigations, document findings, and keep all files audit-ready. Ensure accurate tracking of training, certifications, and I-9 compliance.
Dayforce Payroll & Leave Administration:
Process hires, status changes, and compliant final pay terminations in Dayforce . Coordinate local LOA and Workers' Compensation tracking with corporate specialists.
Qualifications & Requirements Experience:
3-5 years of progressive HR Generalist experience, ideally in a plant, manufacturing, or distribution environment.
Systems:
Proficiency with Dayforce (HCM) and iCIMS (ATS) is highly preferred. Strong MS Excel skills are required.
Language:
Bilingual Spanish (verbal and written) is a major plus.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or a related field is preferred; PHR or SHRM-CP is a plus.
