Santa Clara, CA - 95051About the Role Are you an organized L&D professional who loves both the tech behind digital learning and the logistics of live events? Applied Materials is looking for an L&D Operations Specialist to manage our enterprise learning systems (AppliedX, AGU) and deliver seamless instructor-led training (ILT) experiences globally.
What You'll Do Digital Learning & Platform Operations:
Partner with Instructional Designers to build courses, certifications, and learning journeys into the AGU platform. Handle day-to-day LMS administration (enrollments, permissions, SCORM/xAPI QA), generate compliance/engagement reports, and resolve learner support tickets. Create course scripts, video transcripts, and verify external training credits.
Events & Webinars:
Manage end-to-end logistics for in-person workshops (room booking, catering, AV, materials) and facilitate global webinars. Handle registration, calendar invites, waitlists, real-time troubleshooting, and post-event feedback surveys. What We re
Looking For Required:
3-6 years of experience in L&D operations, training coordination, event management, or a comparable role.
LMS Expertise:
Hands-on experience administering an enterprise LMS (Saba strongly preferred); experience building digital courses and learning paths.
Event Logistics:
Proven success managing physical and virtual event logistics, including vendor management (SOWs and purchase orders).
Skills:
Exceptional organization, attention to detail, and data/reporting proficiency (spreadsheets, LMS metrics).
Communication:
A customer-service mindset with the ability to manage global stakeholders across time zones. Nice to
Have:
Experience with course-authoring tools like Articulate 360. Familiarity with AppliedX or AGU platforms. Experience creating video transcripts and captions.
salary:
$44.65 - $49.65 per hourshift: Firstwork hours: 8 AM - 4
